Dr. Becky Dueben

Dr. Rebecca “Becky” M. Dueben is the founder of Education in Evolution, LLC and an experienced leader in strategic planning, faculty development, organizational effectiveness, and executive coaching. A retired faculty member in Washington State University’s Center for Transformational Learning and Leadership, she holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration.

Becky works with leaders, faculty, and teams across higher education, academic medicine, nonprofit organizations, and other mission-driven institutions. Her consulting and coaching practice focuses on organizational strategy, leadership development, faculty growth, transformational learning, and the creation of inclusive, high-performing environments.

Known for her thoughtful, evidence-informed, and collaborative approach, Becky helps individuals and organizations clarify priorities, navigate complexity, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and translate ideas into meaningful action. Through strategic planning, facilitation, and coaching, she supports clients as they advance professionally, strengthen teams, and build cultures that foster learning, engagement, and innovation.

Dr. Rushika Patel

Dr. Rushika Patel, Partner at Education in Evolution, holds over 20 years of leadership experience in higher and secondary education. She excels in leveraging existing institutional data and designing new qualitative and quantitative studies to support strategic planning, organizational redesign, and cultural change. Dr. Patel’s expertise lies in drawing actionable insights and developing innovative strategies to enhance educational performance, progression, and advancement for students, faculty, and staff.

Dr. Patel conducts comprehensive assessments of institutional cultures, relationships, processes, and resources, providing valuable counsel on developing and utilizing organizational culture for total institutional advancement. As an expert communicator, facilitator, and trainer, she guides groups toward deeper mutual understanding, enhanced skills, and aligned direction with key organizational goals.

Dr. Patel is a compassionate listener and gifted facilitator for spaces of learning. She adeptly identifies opportunities for collaboration among diverse groups with varying experiences and perspectives. Her career includes steering the work and priorities of executive university leadership, directing educational centers and programs for women and minorities, leading large-scale strategic planning initiatives, and training thousands of faculty and staff to address the needs of diverse student populations.

Dr. Patel’s extensive experience spans public and private education in the U.S. and Asia, from K-12 to higher education. Her scholarly interests focus on the impact of global processes on educational cultures and outcomes, striving to sustain the promise of higher education both in the U.S. and globally.

Driven by a passion for making a difference in the lives of students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders, Dr. Patel believes that institutions of higher education are sanctuaries of knowledge, intellectual freedom, openness, and innovation. She finds profound satisfaction in working where the rigor of science meets the complexity of humanity.

Dr. Patel holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies and Organizational Leadership, an M.A. in Education, a Professional Certificate in Linguistics, and a B.A. in Sociology, English, and Psychology. She has held professional appointments at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor and Flint campuses), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of Massachusetts, and the University of North Texas, as well as institutions in Japan, Korea, and India. She has chaired and served on numerous academic and professional boards, committees, and working groups, consistently mapping opportunities for collaboration among diverse groups.

Dr. Patel’s disciplined and rigorous research approach, coupled with her extensive experience in designing and implementing educational programs, has established her as a leading figure in advancing educational access and success for economically and otherwise disadvantaged populations. Her work continues to inspire and drive positive change in the educational landscape.

Dr. Douglas Habib

Douglas Habib received his Ph.D. from Washington State University in History in 2002 and has a wealth of experience in undergraduate education at public and private institutions in both face-to-face and online modalities. He has recently retired from the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at the University of Idaho (UI) where he worked with faculty on integrating high impact practices into the classroom, developed distance education courses and programs, and provided one on one confidential faculty consultations.

While at CETL Dr. Habib also worked with graduate students and postdoc faculty on professional development as part of the UI’s affiliation with the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) in areas such as distance education and Teaching as Research (TAR).

Most recently, Dr. Habib has explored ways that faculty and learners use Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the founder of the UI Faculty AI Study Group, and later as a member of the UI AI Task force and the Idaho State Board of Education’s Statewide AI Community. He and colleagues also contributed to creating guidance for faculty and students on the uses of AI in the classroom and for the UI’s student code of conduct.

Dr. Habib enjoys talking with faculty in a spirit of exploration and discovery to unpack their learning goals for their students. He collaborates to identify pedagogies, activities, and assessments that will guide students towards those goals and dialogues to formulate ways faculty can reach a diverse set of learners and marshal those learners’ existing skills and knowledge to enhance engagement and create transformative learning experiences.

Megan Guido

Megan Guido brings more than 20 years experience in non-profit leadership, including strategic planning, marketing/communications, program development and fundraising. She specializes in team building, interpersonal dynamics, working with boards and conflict resolution. With a deep respect for public service, she appreciates the unique and challenging demands of leading and working in  non-profits and institutions of higher education in today’s world. Her clients include university faculty and administrators, hospitals and healthcare providers, and non-profit directors and staff.  Her group facilitation style is inclusive and collaborative and her coaching work strives to help the client discover their own opportunities and answers. Her own experience includes starting a non-profit addiction and mental health recovery center and working with disadvantaged and marginalized groups. She is known for active listening, compassion and authentic feedback.  Megan holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.

Anna Whitehall

Anna Whitehall is a leadership educator, facilitator, and coach with nearly 20 years of experience helping students, faculty, and professionals develop the leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and confidence to lead with purpose and thrive in complex and changing environments. She currently is a professor in the Human Development department at Washington State University, where she designs and facilitates programs focused on leadership development, communication, career readiness, well-being, and personal growth.

Throughout her career, Anna has worked extensively with undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers, and community leaders. Her work has included developing leadership curricula, facilitating professional development programs, mentoring educators, and supporting organizational initiatives that foster belonging, resilience, and effective collaboration. She has played a leadership role in programs such as LIFT (Learn, Inspire, Foster, Transform), Core to Career, and Values-based Academic Leadership Training for Women in STEM (VAuLTS), helping participants strengthen their leadership capacity while aligning their work with their values.

Anna's teaching and facilitation are grounded in experiential learning and informed by research on leadership, communication, emotional and social intelligence, psychological safety, and personal development. She enjoys partnering with individuals and organizations to explore challenges, identify strengths, and create practical strategies that support growth and positive change. Known for her engaging and practical approach, Anna helps individuals connect their values to meaningful action while building the confidence and skills needed to thrive in their careers and communities. 

Whether working with emerging leaders, professionals seeking growth, or individuals navigating transitions, Anna brings warmth, curiosity, evidence-based practices, and a deep commitment to helping people realize their potential.
